Cleveland commercial and product photographer continues The Rubber Duck Project…
Ok, I have to admit it, I’m kind of having some fun with this (slightly off the wall for me) personal project. It’s a little challenging at times trying to come up with different shots for a rubber duck. Some just come into thought easily, sparked by a visual of something else… while others require a bit of effort and brainstorming.
One of the ideas that came into play, was to see how things might pan out if I loosely recreated specific shots I’ve done in the past… but with the rubber duck vs something like industrial product. A great example is the images featured in this post. It was based off of an image we created some time ago for an underwater diffuser. While I didn’t have to recreate the wheel or anything on this one, it was pretty nice looking back at an older image, absorbing what really worked and then compensating for a bright yellow subject that happens to be a toy.
